(1) The Utility shall take the necessary action to protect each facility and installation that constitutes the national interconnected transmission system.

(2) Despite sub regulation (1), a person shall not tamper or interfere with any facility or installation that constitutes the national interconnected transmission system.
(3) A person shall not encroach on a right of way lawfully acquired or assigned for the purpose of the construction, installation and smooth operation of the national interconnected transmission system.
