13. ACCESS FOR THE AUTHORITY 13.1 Authorized officers or employees of the Authority, and agents authorized by the Authority, are authorised, upon presenting a valid authorisation signed by the Director-General of the Authority, to enter upon, inspect, and examine the records and properties of the Company and/or the Operator, to the extent such records and properties are relevant to determining the compliance of the Company or the Operator with these Regulations or the West African Gas Pipeline Act or the equivalent regulations or legislation in other States; provided that inspection of unmanned facilities shall be subject to reasonable advance notification to the Operator. 13.2 All persons who carry out an inspection in accordance with Regulation 13.1 shall comply with the safety requirements on the site, including the Safe Work Practice Procedures.
