Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana Act, 2019 (Act 991)
Section 21: The Council may suspend a member of the Institute where
(a) an offence in relation to that member is being investigated;
(b) allegations of professional misconduct have been made against the member;
(c) a false declaration was made in an application for registration as a member of the Institute;
(d) the member has contravened a provision of this Act; or
(e) the member is not in good standing for a period exceeding three years.
