Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (Slaughterhouse) Bye-law, 2017
10 (I) NO person shall be allowed to slaughter an animal for sale to the public in the Metropolis or any other approved slaughterhouse within the jurisdiction of the Assembly unless he is a holder of an appropriate license duly issued by the Assembly as specified under the Schedule hereto.
(2) All butchers and their apprentices shall be medically examined by a Medical Officer once every twelve months as part of the conditions for the grant and renewal of the license.
