Excise Duty Act, 2014 (Act 878) as amended
Section 29:(1) A manufacturer who fails to give notice to the Commissioner-General as required under this Act commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not more than two hundred penalty units for each failure or to a term of imprisonment of not more than six months or to both.
(2) In addition to the penalty provided under subsection (1) the manufacturer shall pay a penalty of not more than five hundred currency points for each failure.
Section 30—Failure to provide office accommodation
A manufacturer who fails to provide office accommodation to an officer as required under section 24 (4) shall pay an administrative penalty of not more than five hundred currency points for each day that the manufacturer fails to provide the accommodation.
