Dam Safety Regulations, 2016, L.I. 2236
Regulation 26
(1) The Dam Safety Officer may grant or refuse to grant a Decommissioning Licence after considering an application and shall communicate the decision of the Commission in writing to the applicant within forty-five days from the date of receipt of the application.
(2) Where the Commission refuses to grant a Decommissioning Licence to an applicant, the Commission shall state the reasons for the refusal in the communication of that decision to the applicant.
