Tourism Act, 2011Â (Act 817)
Section 26: (1) An application for a licence for a tourism enterprise shall be made in a. form prescribed by the Authority and shall be accompanied with a fee determined by the Minister responsible for Finance. (2) On receipt of an application, the Authority may make investigations and may require the applicant to submit further information if the Authority considers it necessary for the determination of the application. (3) The Authority shall within three working days after receipt of an application, acknowledge receipt and shall within a reasonable period after the three working days and in any event not exceeding thirty working days after the three working days, inform the applicant in writing of the decision of the Authority. (4) For the purposes of subsection (2), the Authority shall cause an inspection of the premises to which the application relates to be conducted by an inspector authorised by the Authority. (5) The inspector shall submit a report in a form prescribed by the Authority.
