COCOA INDUSTRY (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1968 L.I 586
Regulation 27A:
(1) No person shall offer for grade-marking neous or sealing any cocoa which consists of, or in which offences. black and decayed or rotten
there is present, any cocoa beans which are popularly known in cocoa growing areas as "atowuo" or "abinkyi".
(2) No Inspector shall, without reasonable excuse proof of which shall be on him— (a) affx with a Grade I grade-mark cocoa which should properly fall within Grade Il as defined in regulation 13 these Regulations;
(b) affix a Grade I or Grade Il grade-mark to any cocoa which should properly within sub-standard cocoa as defined regulation 13 of these Regulations.
(3) Any person who contravenes any provision of this regulation shall be guilty of an offence.
