Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 2016 Act 919
Section 16: A contractor or a licensee shall not without the written approval of the Minister, directly or indirectly assign the interest of the contractor under a petroleum agreement, whether in whole or in part, to a third party or an affiliate.
