Imposition of special import measures 22. (1) Special import measures that may be imposed under this Act include(a) safeguard measures;(b) anti-dumping duties;(c) countervailing duties; and (d) tariff adjustment measures.(2) The Commission may impose a special import measure specified in paragraphs (b) and (c) of subsection (1)(a) on receipt of a written complaint filed by a domestic producer or a representative of the domestic producer that produces products that are similar or directly competitive with the products that are the subject of the complaint; or (b) on the initiative of the Commission where the Commission has sufficient evidence to justify the imposition of a special import measure in accordance with this Act.(3) The Minister may, on the recommendation of the Commission, impose ·a special import measure specified in paragraphs (a) and (d) of subsection (1) where the Commission (a) receives a written complaint filed by a domestic producer or a representative of the domestic producer that produces products that are similar or directly competitive with the products that are the subject of the complaint; or (b) on the initiative of the Commission has sufficient evidence to justify the imposition of a special import measure in accordance with this Act.(4) The Commission shall have the power to ·(a) suspend or terminate an investigation initiated for the purpose of imposing a special import measure;
