Minerals and Mining (Health, Safety and Technical Regulations) L.I. 2182
Regulation 542—A manager of a mine or a holder of a small scale mining licence shall, except where exempted by the Chief Inspector of Mines in writing provide, a suitable shelter at or near the entrance of each shaft, adit or portal for employees of the mine.
