Regulation 5:
Provided that the Inspector may in his discretion retain any individual sample for separate inspection, and in any such case the coffee from which the sample was drawn shall be graded separately from the remainder of the consignment.
(2) From the mixed bulk obtained as prescribed by paragraph (1) of this regulation the Inspector shall draw a final sample of not less than one pound of coffee. From this final sample 500 beans shall be drawn for inspection.
Each of the 500 beans mentioned in paragraph (2) of this regulation shall be examined and a count shall be made of the number of defective beans and the number of black beans. From the counts so made the Inspector shall determine the quality of the coffee in the consignment
