Regulation 77 Licensing of Aerodromes. (1) The Authority may license any aerodrome in Ghana subject to such conditions as it thinks fit for the take-off and landing of aircraft engaged in flights for the public transport of passengers, or for the purpose of instruction in flying, or of any classes of such aircraft. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of sub-regulation (1) of this regulation, if the person applying for the licence so requests, the Authority may grant a licence (in the Regulation referred to as "a licence for public use") which shall be subject to the condition that the aerodrome shall at all times when it is available for the take-off or landing of aircraft be so available to all persons on equal terms and conditions. (3) The licence of an aerodrome in respect of which a licence for public use is in force shall display in a prominent place at the aerodrome a copy of the licence and shall give to any person on request information concerning the terms of the licence. (4) The licence of an aerodrome licensed under these Regulations shall not cause or permit any condition of the licence to be contravened, in relation to an aircraft engaged on a flight for the public transport of passengers or for instruction in flying, but the licence shall not cease to be valid by reason only of such a contravention. (5) A licence granted by the Authority in respect of an aerodrome shall, subject to regulation 65, remain in force for such period as may be specified in the licence.
