Period of Consultations: Wed October 15, 2025 to Thu November 27, 2025An Act to establish the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT as a centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and capacity building, as well as providing consultancy and advisory services in ICT, Emerging Digital Technologies, and related areas.
The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations (MoCDTI) is spearheading a comprehensive legal framework revision of existing legislations of Agencies under the Ministry and the development of other laws to regulate certain aspects of the digital ecosystem, considering the evolving nature of technology.This initiative aims to modernize Ghana's digital governance architecture. It also seeks to establish a coherent, modern, and comprehensive legal framework that effectively governs all agencies under the Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, ensuring regulatory clarity, operational efficiency, and alignment with international best practices.
